Audio commentary of selected maps complements the information in the exhibit booklet. The comments have been generously offered by UW-Madison experts in the history of cartography, the history of the Great Lakes region, and remote sensing technology.

What is a Podcast?

A podcast is an easy way for you to download a series of audio or video files without having to visit a website in the traditional sense. Using a program such as iTunes, you can simply "subscribe" to a podcast by entering its web address (URL). iTunes (or the podcast program of your choice) will then automatically download all of the files from this location so you can enjoy them on your computer. Once they are downloaded they can also be copied to your iPod or other MP3 player.
